The Loss-in-Weight (LIW) Feeder System by Newton is a high-performance dynamic weighing solution used for accurate and continuous dosing of bulk materials. It operates by continuously monitoring the weight of the feeder and hopper, calculating the rate of weight loss, and adjusting the feeder speed in real-time to ensure precise material flow at the desired (set) rate.
This system is ideal for applications where consistent material flow and high accuracy are critical — such as in chemical processing, food, cement, and other bulk material handling industries.

How It Works
- Material is continuously weighed in a hopper supported by high-precision strain gauge load cells.

- Once the hopper reaches a low-level threshold, the system refills automatically, ensuring a continuous and controlled flow of material.
